Diesel Bags

Diesel Bags are a great fashion accessory and are a very well known designer brand. Diesel produce an array of products from jeans, t-shirts, skirts, shirts, hats, underwear, jumpers, sweatshirts, jackets and also accessories such as jewellery, watches, belts, bags, wallets and purses.

Even my boyfriend wears the new Diesel aftershave which smells absolutely gorgeous. I have two diesel bags and they are very modern in design. They look like record bags and are more suitable for when I am dressed casually. I use my diesel bags for two different uses, one I use as a beach bag, and the other I use as a change bag for my baby. I never have liked the normal baby changing bags and find my diesel bag far more fashionable. After all no one really needs to know that you are carrying around nappies and milk and lots of different things for your baby. The beauty of these particular diesel bags is that they are huge. My beach bag can carry two large beach towels, sun cream, armbands, the children’s swimming clothes, a change of normal clothes, a hairbrush and some snacks and drinks. There is nothing worse whilst strolling down the beach whilst looking like a pack horse and trying to control your children from running off into every direction!

I always take a few extra plastic bags inside my diesel bag for all the wet clothes and towels that have to go back inside. This way it protects the bag from getting damp and mouldy, especially as it’s so humid out here in Bali.

My baby change bag is also absolutely enormous; it really has to be. I carry nappies, baby powder, wet tissues, plastic bags, spare baby clothes, a baby brush, baby scissors, her health book, baby toys, a towel, a changing mat, a dummy, formula, food and some water. As I am a relatively young Mum at 29 years old I really don’t want to be seen as dowdy and I would rather keep up with the fashion to some degree and there’s no better way to do that than with your bag. Although diesel is an expensive brand I feel that the expenditure on a good bag is well worth it. These are items that you will get a lot of use out of and wear everyday and people will notice the name. These bags will also last for years so if you tally up the use and how often you will be wearing the bag you will see that on a daily basis it barely costs anything at all.

One of my diesel bags I bought from a catalogue and the other my cousin bought me as a birthday present. I think that these are a lovely gift to give to someone. My favourite diesel bag is grey and black, which is a great colour and matches with everything I wear. I certainly wouldn’t wear it on a night out but as a casual bag for during the day it is absolutely perfect.

I once had a pair of diesel jeans and these were very, very expensive. I wore them to death as they were my favourite pair. They were dark blue in colour and had rips at the knees. Everyone would comment on how they looked as they really made my bottom look nice! I remember my friend had some diesel bags and she always used hers for the gym, she would carry it in her basket on her bicycle to and from the gym via her normal beach route. She would pack everything in her bag, her trainers, her hair brush, gym clothes and ipod. On this particular day she had kept her purse in the safe at home and was happily cycling home from a good hard workout at the gym.

On approaching her road on the way home she felt someone coming a little too close to her on a motorbike so she wobbled a little on the bicycle; she was right and the guy on the motorbike quickly snatched one of the diesel bags from her basket and sped off down the road. The only thing of value was the ipod and one of the diesel bags itself. I think that the thieves would be rather disappointed to find that they hadn’t got away with a purse or anything of huge value. We really rather hope that they will be furious to find some sweaty gym clothes and some sweaty trainers!

The police managed to trace the motorbike after my friend had cleverly taken down the license plate number and I really think now that they won’t think it was worth it at all. My friend managed to get all her sweaty gym clothes back (which unfortunately still hadn’t been washed) but the bag and the ipod had obviously already been sold.
